The Tactical Dispensing System is at the heart of
the Merlin’s Defensive Aids Suite. All safety
interlocks need to be engaged to make the system
live.
Stimulating the radar receiver, the infra-red sensors
or the manual buttons will launch countermeasures.
Larger representations of the sequencers maybe
viewed in order to ascertain the correct switch
selections.
An extensive maintenance menu is available in
order for maintainers to become familiar with fault
diagnosis.
